What is the salary?
Salaries can vary significantly depending on factors such as the destination country, city, profession, employer, projects, and your level of experience.
A typical salary for a “tradie” working in Australia is roughly $65,000 to $90,000 AUD per year before tax and New Zealand is roughly $60,000 to $80,000 NZD per year before tax.
It’s likely you’ll earn more in Australia and New Zealand compared to home, partly because of the much lower tax rates.

How long should I come over for?
We suggest aiming for at least 6 months to maximize your tax benefits, but you’re welcome to stay as long as you like – you might even want to immigrate for good!
